Iraq’s Huge Oil Profits – Why Are We Paying?

Iraq earned $32.9 BILLION dollars from Jan. until June 2008 in oil profits with an estimated $67 to $79 BILLION this year, twice the average of generated from 2005 to 2007. Iraq will have a surplus of more than $50 BILLION by the end of the year. Why are we paying for their reconstruction? Bloggers, what do you think?
